We came back 3 times to Coffee 74. Daytime downstairs, daytime upstairs & nighttime upstairs. They have a very gentle nature which is reflected in their customer service. We were welcomed back with a hug and a smile. The food is tasty & we found this cafe to have the perfect position to photograph the train coming round the bend. Where else can you sit down with a beer, a couple of adorable doggies a rooster & watch a train go past your table :-) Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I think "one of the cafes in the famous train street" describes it pretty well. It's slightly overpriced compared to the rest of Hanoi and rather simple in their offering. The allure is in the location, right next to the tracks. I was served a great coconut though and think the place is a very valid option to experience the train passing by

Great view of Train Street! Right at the start, so there are no other tourists that come in the way of your pics / videos. BEST Egg Coffee & Salt Coffee I had in Vietnam!!

Best iced chocolate I’ve ever had. Please order this or you’ll regret. I ordered the iced chocolate milk foam. I’ve even had iced chocolate in Holland last year at the windmill place and this beats it! The iced milk coffee was awesome too. My second favorite drink was the yogurt, I ordered the bottom left blue yogurt drink on the menu, not sure what it was. It was soooo good, I never knew yogurt can taste so good as a refreshing drink. The view was great, got a very good angle of the railway. Due to the storm we didn’t get to see the train but these drinks made up for it and we had a very good time highly recommend this shop!! The lady boss was so nice

Great waiter, he’s very quick and friendly. It’s very beautiful here on the street. You can sit right where the train is or go upstairs. We liked that we could still hear music and be apart of the vibe but it was a little more quiet so we could take it in and relax. They put a fan on for us which we need as Germans didn’t have food, but they gave us a free little snack.

Coffee & breakfast was awesome! Cafe 74. We had our first egg coffee here. The owners were EXTREMELY NICE! Egg coffee, plate of fruit and an egg/chicken sandwich was great! We sat down and enjoyed the train as is passed by. We fortunately made it right prior to the rail being shut down for the morning. This is a great experience if you get the time to come by. You must get there before 9am or come back around 8 pm. The police and office of tourism is limiting the hours tourists can walk down the tracks. This is to curb accidents. Many tourist are oblivious to the dangers of being so close to the tracks. The shop owners do a great job at making sure you are safe and inside the safe area, but some tourists are stubborn and do not listen. If you get a chance it is a must do! Cafe 74!
